Everybody needs a laugh now and then, and lately it seems like comic relief is being sought out more and more. When times start going bad, comedy can be a much-needed companion. Often a short poem will illustrate your point better than hours and hours of talk. Poems can be inspiring and motivating as well as funny, and they also add variety to your presentation. You must flawlessly memorize any poetry you use. Any stumbles will ruin the effect of the verse. If the verse is long, you may want to consider reading it, but total memorization will have more impact. Poetry, whether funny or not, should be used sparingly in any business presentation.

With the economy ever changing many of us have been changing jobs and careers at a rapid fire pace. Many blockbusters movies of the past few years have featured familiar characters - Batman, Spiderman, Superman. All of our favorite DC, Marvel, and Dark Horse comic book heroes are incarnated in films again and again, where the only thing more common than special powers is special effects. Computer animation and high definition lend to the high-budget fun. The Dark Knight was every bit as epic as the hype made it out to be; but even so, another Batman film is just another Batman film. Marvel Comics and the creator of the original video game franchise, Bungie Studios, released a collaborative effort of various writers and artists, the Halo graphic novel in a joint effort; it proved the first entry of the Halo universe in the sequential art genre. The work is sub-divided into a few short stories, four in number with the famous Halo Universe as a backdrop; besides this a comprehensive collection of artwork was featured, containing works by independent sources and by both the publishers.

Comics is evolved around illustrations, illustrations are artistic drawing and sketches that complement text to give it a complete sense. With good illustrations, an artist and illustrator is spared the stress of long conversations between characters or adding needless dialogue to panel (esp. a one-figure panel), i.e. a panel with only a character; this is possible because good illustrations elaborately portray and convey the intended idea in the mind of the artist or illustrator to the audience/reader.

For the person who is not looking for a full time living but would like to earn some extra cash the internet could be the easiest way. As with most other products there are some old issues that would bring hundreds or thousands from collectors. The most important point here is that buying and selling old comics is a specialty type of business where research, knowledge and most important of all a real love of the product are what can propel you to success.
